Used Euro Pallets UK
Used EPAL and UIC Euro pallets graded White, Blue and Red at our Widnes yard. Bulk volumes from 100 pallets up, single drops or scheduled weekly deliveries, UK-wide distribution and a mature buyback loop on surplus stock. All used Euro pallets carry the original IPPC heat-treatment mark.
How We Grade Used Euro Stock
Every inbound used Euro pallet is inspected at the yard against the EPAL technical regulations. White goes into premium stock, Blue into mid-tier, Red into the budget-and-export tier. Any pallet that fails structural inspection drops out of the graded pool into repair or recycling. Load ratings stay at the standard 1500 kg dynamic across all three grades.

Pricing, Buyback and Exchange
We price each condition grade separately and trade on the open EPAL exchange. White runs closest to new EPAL, Blue is the most common workhorse tier, Red is a budget option for one-way exports and low-value loads. Volume pricing kicks in from 100 pallets and drops again at 500 and 1000 breaks. Annual contracts are available for consistent stockers.
Buyback works through the same infrastructure. We collect surplus Euro stock from your sites on the same routes we deliver on, pay per pallet at agreed rates, and either exchange or re-grade the collection into the next buyer's order. Net pallet spend on a mature closed-loop contract runs well below single-purchase pricing.

Used Euro Pallets FAQs
For customer-facing shipments or retail distribution use White. For internal warehousing and inter-depot use Blue. For one-way export loads where the pallet will not return, Red is usually the best cost choice.
Yes. Every licensed EPAL and UIC pallet was heat-treated at manufacture and carries the IPPC mark. As long as the mark is still legible and the pallet has not been repaired with untreated wood, it remains export-compliant.
Yes. EPAL operates an open exchange pool and we trade into it. A typical exchange settles on 1 for 1 in grade, though cross-grade exchanges attract a fee to reflect the condition uplift.
The EPAL 1 standard is 1200 x 800mm, weighing around 25 kg empty, with a dynamic load rating of 1500 kg and a static rack rating of 4000 kg. EPAL 2 and EPAL 3 variants exist in 1200 x 1000mm and 1000 x 1200mm portraits respectively.
Technically yes, but we usually recommend against it. EPAL and UIC are built to the same spec but carry different licence marks, and exchange pools in certain countries only accept one. For a predictable pool we recommend picking one licence and sticking to it.
White grade can still deliver 15 to 25 more trip cycles in a closed-loop environment. Blue delivers 5 to 15 more. Red is typically a 1 to 3 trip cycle option before it falls out of the graded pool.
